Nam Nguyen is a photojournalist who is dedicated to capturing meaningful local stories with honesty and depth. He is currently studying Photojournalism at the University of Missouri, where he is strengthening both his technical abilities and his thoughtful approach to visual storytelling.

He works with the Columbia Missourian as an editor and photographer and is building a diverse portfolio that includes photo essays and news coverage. His work often highlights underrepresented voices and everyday moments that might otherwise be overlooked. He is known for building genuine connections with his subjects and earning their trust, always approaching assignments with empathy and respect.

Guided by a deep appreciation for photography and a strong sense of responsibility as a storyteller, Nam aims to create images that do more than inform. His goal is to foster understanding and connection through the moments he documents.
