Nam Nguyen is an Asian American photojournalist dedicated to telling impactful local stories with care, depth, and honesty. Currently pursuing a degree in Photojournalism at the University of Missouri, Nam brings both technical skill and a compassionate approach to visual storytelling.

With experience at the Columbia Missourian and a growing portfolio of photo stories, he focuses on news coverage that amplifies underrepresented voices and moments that often go unseen. Known for building strong, trusting relationships with subjects, Nam approaches each assignment with empathy and a deep respect for the communities he documents.
