Nam Nguyen is a photojournalist passionate about capturing meaningful local stories with honesty and depth. He’s currently studying Photojournalism at the University of Missouri, where he's honing both his technical skills and his thoughtful approach to visual storytelling.

Nam has worked with the Columbia Missourian and is building a diverse portfolio of photo essays and news coverage. His work often highlights underrepresented voices and everyday moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. He’s known for connecting with his subjects and earning their trust—always approaching assignments with empathy and respect.

Driven by a deep love for photography and a strong sense of responsibility as a storyteller, Nam aims to create images that do more than inform—they build understanding and connection.
